IMG – the Institute for Material Testing Glörfeld – has stood for precise analyses of a wide variety of materials in the inorganic sector for over 40 years and is renowned throughout Europe for precise precious metal analysis. 

The focus is on chemical analysis of ores, metals, recycling materials of all kinds, especially on the determination of the precious metal contents of gold (Au), silver (Ag), platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), rhodium (Rh), iridium (Ir), ruthenium (Ru), rhenium (Re) and osmium (Os). In addition, there are analyses for copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), iron (Fe), lead (Pb), antimony (Sb), arsenic (As), bismuth (Bi), tantalum (Ta), cadmium (Cd) and molybdenum (Mo).

The services are mainly offered to industry, metal and raw materials trading, recycling companies, but also to research institutes, universities and private customers.
